MOSTRAmi turns any phone into a private, multilingual museum guide that explains the artwork in front of you - without sending photos to the cloud.
MOSTRAmi is currently an Android TRL 5-6 internal demo. The v0.8.0 (21) AI Integrity source candidate was compiled on August 14: Android tests and the R8 YC build pass, as do Functions 8/8, token Worker 7/7 and mostrapack 9/9. The artifact is unsigned; the current signed v0.7.0 private-beta APK remains the only distributable build for authorised testers and is also retained as the rollback artifact for future v0.8 qualification. Claim-level citations, multilingual Clio Live, image-first detail exploration, Scholar and museum experience packs are represented across app and site.
Experience the complete on-device client, offline VLM steering, and BLE radar right in your browser.
Open Simulator ➔Museum visitors get a bad guide experience, while museums face high build barriers.
Labels and audio guides fail to cover the long tail of museum collections.
Physical guide rentals or cloud apps that lose connection behind thick concrete walls.
Every photo analysis and audio guide generation sent to cloud VLMs scales costs linearly with visitor traffic.
Local inference runs on the visitor's hardware accelerator. The cost curve is flat, and cloud dependency is eliminated.
MOSTRAmi runs on a hybrid stack: Gemma 4 LiteRT for private local fallback, Gemini Cloud for deep interpretation, and Gemini Live native audio for voice-first conversation. Point phone, scan artwork, lower the device, then speak with Clio while looking at the work.
Native Mobile GPU/NPU acceleration using Google's LiteRT-LM runtime.
Three independent enablers just converged to make MOSTRAmi possible in 2026, after being technically and commercially unfeasible before.
Clio TourSync™ syncs guides and visitors in real time over secure WebSocket.
We refuse to cite refuted market aggregator reports. We build our addressable ceiling using bottom-up ICOM/EGMUS counts and SmartGuide-anchored benchmarks.
Outbound Chinese tourists cannot access Google Play Store in Europe. Installing custom APKs faces device warnings.
Our VLM and OCR functions are wrapped in a WeChat Mini-Program. Tourists scan a physical QR code at the museum entrance and open the guide instantly.
Outbound distribution of the Android native client is also published directly on Huawei AppGallery, bypassing Google Mobile Services.
Camera frames undergo automatic face blur on the device before any VLM processing.

Why MOSTRAmi wins: We bypass the structural limitations of CMS content, cloud liabilities, and app-store access blocks.
Bloomberg Connects and legacy wands require curators to write scripts for every single object. MOSTRAmi's on-device VLM explains any artwork dynamically - even if the museum has zero catalog entries.
Smartify and Google Arts upload images to external servers, capturing bystander faces and risking GDPR/AI Act compliance fines. MOSTRAmi uses local face blurring and runs fully offline behind stone walls.
Chinese tourists carry Google Services-free phones, blocking Play Store downloads. We bypass this entirely with a Mandarin WeChat Mini Program and AppGallery APK, tapping into the €280B cohort [S1].

Solo Founder & Architect
Fabrizio is currently a solo founder. Most top accelerators prefer co-founding teams of 2 or more.
Top use of pre-seed funding will be recruiting and hiring a technical co-founder within the first 60 days of the accelerator batch.
Begin invite-only Android access only after signing, cloud canary and exact-device gates are green. Run at least 30 real-context sessions and measure first scan, second scan, multilingual voice, interruption, latency, crashes and willingness to pay; this is not a public launch.
Expand the cohort and device matrix gradually, harden support and pack handling, and produce a measured beta learning report.
Complete one scoped exhibition PoC, test the first commercial offer, then decide whether evidence supports an open beta or limited public Android release.
Standard Deal: $125k on 7% post-money SAFE + $375k uncapped MFN SAFE
Technical co-founder sourced and hired during first 60 days of the SF batch.
Build stabilization and CI first. iOS/KMM remains demand-gated research until Android usage and delivery capacity justify the port.
Sales travel, partner scoping and localization to complete the first exhibition PoC and test a first paid B2B offer by September 2027.
