Privacy Policy
MOSTRAmi and its digital companion Clio help you scan artwork labels and receive AI-generated cultural explanations. Photos of artwork are not saved automatically, diagnostics are disabled by default, and cloud analysis is controlled by the user.
Data We Process
- Images and camera frames used for scanning and analysis.
- OCR text, prompts, and chat context required to generate explanations.
- Microphone audio and live transcriptions when the user starts Clio Live or voice input.
- Local history stored on the device, erasable by the user.
- Firebase identifiers for account management, subscriptions, abuse prevention, and deletion requests.
- Purchase status processed via Google Play Billing and RevenueCat.
- Firebase diagnostics, enabled only after explicit user opt-in.
- AI content reports voluntarily submitted by the user.
Cloud AI
When the user enables cloud analysis or Clio Live Cloud, images, OCR text, prompts, audio/transcription data and context may be sent to the MOSTRAmi proxy or Firebase AI Logic to generate the response. Production distribution remains gated on verification of provider configuration, region, retention, access controls and deletion behavior. Local mode avoids cloud AI routing after compatible assets are installed.
Experimental TourSync and External Channels
TourSync code exists for controlled Android testing. WhatsApp and Telegram companion operation is not enabled in v0.8.0 and is not presented as a current data flow:
- Future messaging channels: any external-platform integration requires a separate data-flow disclosure, provider terms, regional/retention verification and consent review before activation.
- Clio TourSync (group tours): when explicitly started in a controlled test, the client can use Bluetooth Low Energy RSSI values for relative proximity. This feature still requires permission, lifecycle, device and venue QA before production use; it is not a museum deployment claim.
User Controls
- Privacy mode to block cloud routing where available.
- Artwork photo saving disabled by default.
- Opt-in diagnostic logging.
- History export and deletion tools.
- Account deletion from app settings or via public request pages.
Data Retention
Local history remains on the device until deleted by the user. AI reports are stored only for safety and quality reviews. Purchase data follows Google Play and RevenueCat policies.
